Furniture on the Cheap

If you are like me, 50 cent millionaire rings true. www.craigslist.com is a wonderful spot to find inexpensive items. here is a perfect example. My dear wife found these for a whopping 20 bucks. Granted , I believe it was about 10 too high. mainly, She brought these night stands home out of guilt. She called and made arrangements with the seller. When she got there they look a lot less refined then the image had lead to us to believe but felt bad about taking up they persons time and not take the items.

They sat on our porch for a few month. I had to do something with them before the HOA sent me a letter.

I hit the local hardware store got a can of stripper, stain and a brush for about $30.00.

Total Project Cost

I put about a couple hours in striping and staining the night stands for a grand total of $50.00 for two night stands for out guest bedroom.
